Our first day of school for Mt. Pulaski Schools was a success!  We are working to improve our systems for certifying students are symptom-free, delivering lunches and organizing bus riders, but all else went well.  We expect an even better day today!

Nearly 95% of Mt. Pulaski students are participating as in-person attendees while the remaining students are engaged in remote instruction.  Our staff and administration are dedicated to making both of these instructional experiences fulfilling and effective!

As we start day two, we are happy to report that no students have been sent to quarantine in either school.  We thank grade school families for certifying their students are symptom-free because it expedites the process of getting students safely to class.

We do have one grade school staff member recovering from COVID-19 which was detected prior to the start of school.  Staff members who test positive for COVID-19 may return to school only after satisfying the guidelines set by the CDC, IDPH and Logan County Health Department.

Remember wash up, mask up and keep the distance!

Have a great day.

Fred Lamkey, Superintendent
