Kamrie Charron, daughter of Kyle and Brooke Charron and Lakeshia Slighton, has been named January-Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School.
Kamrie has participated in FFA, FCCLA, and Volleyball for 4 years, Student Council, Spanish Club, and Yearbook for 3 years. She has been a member of NHS (currently serving as President), Basketball, and a Class Officer (Vice President) for 2 years. She has also done Track and Drama Club for 1 year.
Outside of school Kamrie is a Sunday School volunteer and the Lincoln Christian Church. She has also helped with Christmas on Vinegar Hill, she has trick or treated for canned goods, helped with Fall Fest, the FFA Food Drive, Freshman Bootcamp, and participated in our day of service. She has helped with the Spanish Club Coffee shop. Kamrie coaches club volleyball for the students at MPGS. She also has volunteered at the Elkhart Hill and Farm and barn cleaning at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
Kamrie has earned High Honors all 4 years of high school.
Kamrie plans to attend MTI to get her certification in Phlebotomy and then attend Lincoln Land Community College for the Surgical Technology program.
