Patience Woodford, daughter of Kelli Owens and Jason and Traci Woodford, has been named September-Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School.
During her time at MPHS Patience has been involved in numerous organizations. For 4 years she has participated in Pep Band, Art Club, and Scholastic Bowl. She has also been a member of Track and Field for 3 years. She is also on NHS, currently serving as President and a part of the stage crew for Drama Club. Patience has also been on the Honor Roll every year.
Outside of school Patience is actively involved in the community. She has been a group leader for the Center for Creativity and Community. She has gone on mission trips with the Appalachia Service Project, is a kids worship leader, and has done 3 years of volunteering with VBS and camp counseling. Patience is also a senior member of the Student Leadership Team.
Patience plans to study abroad in Spain, get a degree in Education, and become a teacher.
