Lupe Andrade, daughter of Cesar and Rosalina Andrade, has been named December-Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School.

Lupe has stayed actively involved during her time at MPHS. She has been a member of the Drama Club for four years and participated in FCCLA for four years. She has been a chapter and section officer and is currently serving as a state officer. For two years, she has been a member of NHS, was the manager of the Soccer team, and played Volleyball. She is also currently serving as the Social Media Manager for Student Council.

As a part of the FCCLA Parliamentary procedure team, the team earned a silver medal her Sophomore year at nationals and earned 5th in the nation her junior year.

Lupe has volunteered at the LMH Farmers Market and Christmas on Vinegar Hill. She has also worked at Topper Tees pop-up shops at school events. She also works at her family’s restaurant.

Lupe plans to attend SIUC in the fall. She plans to go on to medical school and become either an emergency room doctor or in pediatrics.
