During the 2019-2020 school year, Illinois FCCLA is working with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Illinois as our Community Service Partner. During the month of March, Mount Pulaski FCCLA is partnering with Deron Powell State Farm to collect household items to be donated to Ronald McDonald Houses of Illinois. Both the high school and Deron Powell’s office will also accept donations of household items to donate families staying at local Ronald McDonald houses. Acceptable items include facial tissue, laundry detergent, deodorant, soap, toilet paper, towels, toothpaste, dish soap, shampoo and more.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois serve and sustain families when catastrophe strikes the most cherished part of their lives - their children. This organization provides a supportive place for families to stay while their child is receiving medical care, and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.
In addition to the household items drive, Deron Powell's office will be making a $10 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities for each auto, homeowners and life quote provided this month. Stop by Powell’s office at 114 East Cooke Street in Mt. Pulaski, or call 217-792-3371 to request a quote or make a donation in March and support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois. You may also bring household item donations to Mount Pulaski High School.
Thank you for working with us to help this awesome organization and the good that they do.
