November Lunch and Breakfast Menu-
Starting Monday, November 3 - ALL STUDENTS TK-8th have the option of Pizza or Nachos for lunch.
Daily Options:
Option 1 - is main - hot
Option 2 - is cold choice (sandwich, salad or wrap)
Option 3 - pizza
Option 4 - nachos
(Mrs. Lora sent out a survey to parents regarding adding the pizza and nacho choices to the primary grades; the survey came back 80/20 in favor.)

Today we celebrate Mrs. Lora! The Illinois Principals Association recognizes today as Principal Appreciation Day, and we will take this opportunity to shout out our fearless leader.
Mrs. Lora goes above and beyond every single day — supporting students, staff, and families with kindness, dedication, knowledge and a big heart. She works hard to make our school a place where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to do their best. Thank you, Mrs. Lora, for all that you do for our school community. We are inviting all current and retired service members and their families to a small Veteran’s Day Assembly in their honor. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

🎃 Jr. High Halloween Dance Reminder! 🎃
The MPGS Jr. High Dance is coming up this Friday, October 24th from 7:00–9:00 PM in the school cafeteria!
💵 Admission: $5 per person Student Council is encouraged to bring a drink or snack to share for free admission.
👻 Costumes: School-appropriate costumes are welcome! MPGS students only!
🚗 Drop-off & Pick-up: Please use the cafeteria doors for both.
🧹 Student Council Members: Please plan to stay about 10 minutes after the dance to help with cleanup.

The Halloween Costume Parade will be at 11am on 10/31.
Students will start at the main entrance and parade around the school on the sidewalk heading south (left) first and then on around from there.
Parents can line the streets to watch, but may not enter the school or take their children until dismissal.
You must let the teacher and the office know if you will be picking up a child who isn't normally a pickup.

Anyone attending tonight's BoE meeting at the HS (Learning Center), should park on Cooke St., entering through the northeast door by the corner of Cooke & Spring Sts. The doors will unlock at 6:55PM for the beginning of the meeting at 7:00PM.
