Congrats to the choir students who participated in the Logan County Music Festival on October 17th. Harper McCormick and Lily Butler were selected to perform solos at the event. All the students did a wonderful job.

On Thursday, October 17, the 8th grade students will not be going over to the high school for any afternoon classes due to a Life Skills event going on at the high school. All 8th grade students will be dismissed at 11:24 a.m. from the Grade School on Thursday, October 17. Any student who is picked up will need picked up at the Grade School. Bus riders will board their regular bus at the grade school.

The KA and KB Kids visited the MP Fire Station today. They had a great time learning about fire safety, spraying the hose, and they came back to school in a fire truck. 🚒 🚨

The Abe Lincoln Region is now accepting nominations for administrative awards this school year. If you have an individual that has made a positive impact on you, your student, or your family, please consider nominating that outstanding leader. Thursday, October 31, PreK-5 students will be having a Halloween Costume Parade at 2:30 p.m. This year's parade will be outside. Parents, please check your email with details for the parade.

On October 12, from 9 am – 1 pm, Touch-a-Truck will be happening in Lincoln. Various vehicles like fire trucks, police cars, and construction machinery will be parked around Scully Park for children and families to explore. Kids can climb into the driver’s seat, honk the horn, and learn about the vehicle from the professionals who operate them.
