The KB Kids had a fun Valentine's Day last Friday. We made some special Valentines, we tried to throw an arrow through a heart, and we tried to find the match to the other half of our heart.

1A made paper airplanes using what we learned about how planes fly. We used tape to measure whose plane flew furthest. Our winner was Avery! We also celebrated Dixie's birthday, which was on Valentine's Day! Happy Birthday Dixie!

8th graders have been reading “The Giver.” Today the students tried to “see beyond” like Jonas was able to see colors that others in the community were unable to see. They had fun trying to see the hidden images.

MLK had a dream, and the local library downtown asked junior high students to share some of their dreams. In English Language Arts, students reflected on what is important in their lives. The dreams will be posted on a bulletin board at the Mt. Pulaski Public Library.
