March is Music in Our Schools Month. For this month we will feature staff members who did music in school. Today will feature Mr. Pluhm who teaches band. He played trombone from elementary school all the way to college. He played recorder in elementary and guitar in junior high. In college, he played all of the orchestra and band instruments along with gamelan. He did sing in junior high, high school and in one semester at college.

In elementary school, she played recorder and trombone. In junior high, she played trombone, tuba and sang in choir. In high school, she played trombone, tuba, percussion and sang choir her senior year. In college, she learned to play all the band/orchestra instruments for her degree, piano and sang in choir for a semester.

Kindergarten Round-up 2024...
Mt. Pulaski Community School District #23 would like to determine approximately how many kindergarten students to expect for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2024 to be eligible for kindergarten. If your child is eligible to enter kindergarten for the upcoming school year, please complete the form below by April 30th.
