Supporting your child’s education means more than just computer troubleshooting. In particular, parents and caregivers have faced challenges when it comes to fostering social emotional learning (SEL) while still supporting traditional academic learning. The LTC SPARK program has created a self-paced course for parents & caregivers. In this course, written by SEL educator and coach Abby Lyons, participants will learn how to develop learning spaces at home, support student engagement, and encourage self-regulation. Parents and caregivers will also walk away from this course with the skills needed to manage their own social emotional well-being – no matter what challenges remote learning throws at them. Sign up for “Parenting in a Pandemic” today and begin working toward completing this engaging new course at your own pace. To sign up, visit: https://ltcillinois.org/events/courses/?_course_audience=parents&utm_source=MagnetMail&utm_medium=email&utm_term=hfricke%40mtpulaski.k12.il.us&utm_content=November+2020_LTC+Newsletter&utm_campaign=November+2020+LTC+Newsletter
