Reminder: Registration packets were sent home last week and are due this Friday, May 28. Please return all paperwork in the brightly colored envelope that was sent home with your student. LSA Cheerleading Tryout Information
Lincoln Land Community College is launching a FREE program in June to help graduating high school seniors boost their writing and math skills in preparation for college in the fall.
LLCC Summer Boost classes will be offered on the LLCC Springfield campus Mondays-Thursdays beginning June 7 and concluding Wednesday, June 30. Taught by LLCC faculty in a face-to-face format, Writing Summer Boost will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and Math Summer Boost from 1-4 p.m. Students participating in both Summer Boost sessions will receive a free Quiznos lunch each day. Books, supplies, T-shirts and bus passes will also be provided at no charge.
“We recognize the past year has presented many challenges to graduating high school seniors,” said Dr. Charlotte Warren, president of LLCC. “We’re launching LLCC Summer Boost to give them and any student who will be new to college next fall a strong foundation when they begin at LLCC or elsewhere.”

Track Meet TONIGHT - RESCHEDULED
The Tomahawk Conference Track meet that was scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for next Thursday 5/24 at Midwest Central.

This year’s senior Spanish 4 students left their “Footprints on MPHS” by making a proposal and receiving funds to create a sloth haven in the corner of the Spanish classroom. It has come together nicely, and it will be a space that continues to grow and develop over the years. A big thanks to Mr Morgan and Robb May for their generosity!
