7th graders are excited to accept their "Shark Bucks" after speaking in a presentation to convince the investors, the sharks, to invest in their product or service.

6th graders enjoyed sharing their video game projects with their fellow peers in ELA class.

Experiment Day!

Choir had some awards passed out today for choir-lympics and meme contest. For note names on choir-lympics, Charity Woodford got first place, Lily Woodworth got second place and Alexis Bishop got third place. For solfege on choir-lympics, Charity Woodford got first place, Kya Matson got second place, and Alexis Bishop got third place. For the meme contest, junior high teachers chose their favorite school related meme and choir related meme. Charity Woodford and Kya Matson won for best school related meme and Kendra Stewart won for best choir meme.

The Spring Concert is at the high school on Tuesday, May 17, at 6:30 PM. Doors will open at 6:00 PM. The event is in the Multipurpose Gym. All spectators should park in the west lot and enter at the "Gym Entrance."

2nd graders made their own rainy rhythms using quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenth notes, and quarter rests.

Piper Tyson place 3rd place in 7AA girls discus at the state track meet with a throw of 79’8”!!! Way to go Piper!!!!

Congrats to Carter Clark (Discus), Piper Tyson (Discus), and Olivia Smith (200m)! They each qualified to participate at the State Track Finals next weekend in East Peoria.

Kindergarten enjoyed some more Ag In The Classroom from the Logan County 4H Extension Office. To learn more about Earth Day and its importance, Mrs. Hyde taught us about ways to conserve water.
