First graders in 1A just finished a unit on fossils. We celebrated by excavating our "chocolate chip fossils" from our cookies carefully. We used patience and our tools to finish the job. We even got to eat the final product!

Last week, 4th grade students learned more about China as they celebrate Chinese New Years. Besides learning about history and culture, they also "tried their hand" at writing in Chinese, as well as lantern making and using chopsticks.
