Today 4A practiced simplifying fractions through the game of WAR. 2 cards were flipped over - the bigger number became the denominator. The first one to simplify, or to recognize it as simplest form, took the cards.
In kindergarten, identification of beginning sounds during centers is mastered by matching the bee eraser to the correct picture.

As part of their centers, students in Mrs. Jones’s kindergarten class have been independently counting scoops and following a recipe to make pretend hot chocolate. Today, they followed a real recipe and enjoyed some together. Stay warm out there!

Landon Smith is the January 8th Grade Student of the Month at MPGS.
