Today was Life Skills Day at MPHS. I had a lot of fun teaching students about some different hand tools and power tools, and they were able to practice using a variety of them. It was great to see some new faces that I have not had in class, and they all did a great job. Hopefully the students acquired some knowledge and skills that theyāll be able to use many years from now.

Tonight's Volleyball Game against Delavan will begin at 6:00pm.
Our first home volleyball game will be this Saturday, September 10, at 10 a.m. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. The south-west parking lot will not be ready for cars until Monday, September 12, so guests are encouraged to use off-street parking around the building for this event. Due to this inconvenience, gate admission will not be charged for this home game. We look forward to seeing you Saturday! Go Toppers!

Seniors created newscasts in Spanish to highlight the annual festival in Spain called La Tomatina: a huge food fight in the streets of BuƱol that began as a rebellion against a dictator. Over 20,000 tourists travel here the last Wednesday of August to throw tomatoes at one another for an hourš¤£

The Tuesday (9/6) volleyball game has been moved to Warrensburg-Latham due to a construction delay on the HS parking lot. While we are aware there is a certain amount off-street parking, we are concerned about the safety of all fans and athletes exiting to their cars in the darkness. Our hope is that this will be the last game adjustment based on the parking lot construction (which will create an inviting and safe parking environment for all athletes and fans). We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
