Courthouse Iron Statue Fundraiser at Mount Pulaski High School
MPHS students will have an opportunity to help the Courthouse raise funds for the life-size cast iron sculpture of Abraham Lincoln that will grace the Courthouse lawn. The following activities will occur during this week!
Tuesday, February, 28, 2023: Caps for a Cause - Students pay $1 in the cafeteria before school to wear a hat all day. The hat must have a specific sticker on it (which will be distributed in the morning) to be worn during school.
Wednesday, March 1, 2023: No Run Wednesday - Students pay $5 at the start of their PE hour to get out of running that day.
Thursday, March 2, 2023: Pajama Day - Students pay $1 in the cafeteria before school to wear pajamas all day. The pajamas must have the distributed sticker on them to be worn during school.
Friday, March 3, 2023: Tape Our School Resource Officer to the Wall Day - Students who have $1 to participate will pay before school in the cafeteria. During study hall, participating students will meet back in the cafeteria to tape our School Resource Officer, Josh Pharis, to the wall.

The welding class has done a great job this semester working hard to improve their skills. They started practicing vertical tee-joints this week, which can be tricky to get the hang of. I was very impressed with their first attempts and am excited to see them continue to improve each day!
There is an informational meeting for Spring Shooting Sports (trap/skeet) tonight in the MPHS cafeteria at 6:00 pm. The front doors will be unlocked from 5:45 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. for attendees. Please park and enter on Spring Street.

Math Department ~~ Math Problem of the Week Congratulations to Kaleb Hild!
We will be honoring our Senior wrestlers this Thursday, February 16, between the JV and Varsity boys basketball game. The JV game begins at 6:00 pm. Doors open to spectators at 5:20 pm. It's the last home boys basketball game of the season as well.
Come out and cheer for our senior wrestlers, Kaleb & Walker!
Girls Basketball Regional action begins Monday, February 13, at Mount Pulaski High School.
#2 Mt Pulaski takes on #6 LeRoy at 6 pm.
$5 admission for each fan (including staff, season pass holders, and students). Doors will open at 5:20 pm.
