Kindergarten Round-up 2024...
Mt. Pulaski Community School District #23 would like to determine approximately how many kindergarten students to expect for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2024 to be eligible for kindergarten. If your child is eligible to enter kindergarten for the upcoming school year, please complete the form below by April 30th.
Before entering in the fall, we will need a copy of your child’s physical and immunization record, dental and eye exam, and a certified birth certificate.

March is Music in Our Schools Month. For this month we will feature staff members who did music in school. Today will feature Mrs. Ford who teaches 2A and Miss. Read who teaches 1B. Mrs. Ford played flute in elementary school and Miss. Read played clarinet from elementary school through high school.
We will be celebrating our 8th grade girls volleyball team on their State Championship tomorrow morning at 8:00 am with an assembly before we start our day!

March is Music in Our Schools Month. For this month we will feature staff members who did music in school. Today will feature Mrs. Lindley who teaches elementary special education and Ms. Newburn who teaches 3B. Mrs. Lindley played piano in elementary school and did choir in Junior High and High School. Ms. Newburn sang in her choir when she was in 5th/6th grade in Riverton.

Mr. Lamkey did saxophone and choir in elementary school.

This Week in Sports at MPGS
Parents and Guardians:
This is a reminder that when it is listed we have an 11:30 dismissal that the grade school actually dismisses at 11:23 and the high school at 11:30. This is to allow the staggered dismissals just like we do on a regular day. Just wanted to remind everyone of that. Please remember to arrive by 11:23 to pick up your child at the grade school on early dismissal days. We have an early dismissal this Friday March 8th!

Mrs. Smith played clarinet and piano in elementary school, junior high, and high school. She also sang in choir in junior high and high school and played piano in college. Ms. Awe played clarinet in junior high.
The JH Dance has been rescheduled for Friday, March 22, 2024 in the GS Cafeteria from 7-9pm. The cost is $5 per person at the door.
