The 8th graders just finished a unit on the Holocaust. They were able to pick a novel of their choice and represent what they understood by creating a passion project of their choice. The pictures represent what was physically brought in, but the students also created poems, song lyrics that were played on guitar, a Minecraft recreation of Auschwitz, a cake made to depict the inside of a death camp and more. The students really got their "creative juices" flowing.

Miss Powell's class worked hard finding angles around the classroom this morning. They made their own right angle fish and had to find objects that were a perfect right angle, less than a right angle, and greater than a right angle. Who said math can't be fun??

The 7th graders listened and had great questions. They will remember this visit for a long time. Thank you Deng for coming and visiting with us.
